2012!

Happy New Year!

The breaking news for 2012 is We’re On The Move! Many thanks to the wonderful dancers and friends who’ve been helping shift our studio gear. Our exciting new space is just a short tram ride from the city in the new Bowden Urban Development with new neighbours Cirkidz! Lots of ‘new’ in there – see you soon in Bowden!

Pip is back!

A little treat during the break – Pip E-Lysaah will be back for another workshop, Wednesday 13th July, 7-9pm.

This workshop will be for floor work and basics of dancing with a sword. Pip’s floor workshop was widely hailed as one of the best in the recent series, so if you missed it the first time round or would like to revise what you learned, here’s your chance!

Cost for the workshop is $20 – contact Evangeline to book your spot!

Cinnabar Red Sunday Soiree

Announcing our Cinnabar Red Sunday Soirée, to be held on Sunday 10th July 2pm-5:30pm!

This will be a fabulous day of dance, showcasing not only our own students but many of our friends as well.

We’ll have tribal performances from our own classes, Parlour of the Seventh Seed, Ruby Dhatura and guests Flourish Tribal from McLaren Vale. In addition we will have Rajasthani (Mudra), Bollywood (Reshman), Oriental (Sabina), and ‘Glentemporary’ (Contemporary from Glen Murray)… with more possibly to be confirmed!

The Lion, The Bitch and Her Wardrobe will be open with all her treasures, and there’ll be henna painting available too.

We need to raise money to buy the studio a dance floor! $5 entry ($2.50 for children 12 and under). BYO snacks and drinks, though we will likely have some available for purchase on the day. If you do bring your own please remember the studio is a vegetarian-friendly space so no meat please!! Also please consider bringing a cushion or rug as we may not have enough for everyone.

All are welcome to this event, so bring along anyone who loves to watch beautiful dancing or maybe is just a little curious!  This event is on Facebook so please notify us of your attendance there to help us plan! Hope to see you all there!
