June workshops!

We have two exciting new workshops coming this month! Contact Evangeline for bookings.

Glen Murray will be presenting a Contemporary dance workshop from 9-11am 10am-12pm on Saturday 18th June. Glen’s dance career spans 17 years in many of Australia’s foremost dance companies. Based in Tasmania, in 2005 he founded MADE (Mature Artists Dance Experience) to provide dance theatre experiences for mature artists (those over 50). MADE has performed around the country and Glen has been awarded funding to undertake international research and teaching.

While MADE is for over-50′s, we have a rare opportunity here as Glen’s workshop is open to all ages and levels of experience.  $30 for the two hour workshop ($25 for current Cinnabar Red students).

The fun doesn’t stop there, Samantha will present a Gypsy workshop on Saturday 25th June, 12:30-2:30pm. More details for this workshop will be coming soon, so stay tuned!

Pip’s workshops – *this weekend*

Yes! That soon! Some places are still available – download details here [pdf format], or contact Evangeline direct to confirm a place.

Reminder: Regular Saturday classes are cancelled for 21 May due to the workshops.

And, come on down to Casablabla on Friday (20 May) to see Pip perform with Ruby Dhatura! We are scheduled to go on around 9, so get in a bit earlier, grab a drink (or even earlier and have some gorgeous tapas!) and watch a fantastic FREE performance by Pip and the Ruby Dhatura girls!
